Magyar district outlines four bond options for Avon Lake plans
Magyar presented four main options for Avon Lake school funding. Three propose construction bonds of 87, 109, and 141 million dollars with separate operating levies of 3, 2.5, and 2 million per year, plus building closures in some plans. A fourth option would fund only operating costs, with 8 or 5 million yearly levies and a 60 million repair bond. The district notes no restored cuts and seeks community input via a survey before a January 6 organizational meeting at Avon Lake High School.
