Fourth time to be a charm for problem Space Shuttle

Engineers for the problem plagued Columbia Space Shuttle program prepared for a fourth attempt to simulate liftoff and orbit. Backup crew Engle and Truly had to unbuckle after failed starts and simulator issues delayed the dress rehearsal, part of an 18 month lag in the program.

Va hospital seeks OK for test tube baby clinic

The Statewide Health Coordinating Council approved Norfolk General Hospital's plan to convert a 120 square foot storage room into an in vitro fertilization lab. The plan awaits final approval from Health Commissioner James Kenley, who is expected to rule soon.
