U S tensions ease as dollar devalued and tariffs cut

Warmer, clouds linger with light snow north

Four killed in Northern Ireland bombings hit Belfast and Londonderry
A British army spokesman said four people died in two blasts in Northern Ireland last night. In Magherafelt a car bomb killed three young men, one a 15 year old apprentice barman died in a Springfield Road Belfast bar bombing. One other person was wounded in Londonderry, six in Belfast’s bar blast. A pistol was found with a victim in the car blast. The toll for the year rises to 166. An army spokesman noted rioting followed the Belfast strike.
