Walking safety and bus rules in North Ridgeville
District spokeswoman Tissy Simon notes students travel by various means to reach school while bus eligibility covers grades 2–8 only if living over one mile away. Pre K through first grade are bused or transported regardless of residence and middle schoolers have been seen climbing snow piles after class. Gillock advocates sidewalks citywide and more walking trails linking Meadow Lakes to Sandy Ridge Reservation. Contact Lisa Roberson at 329-7121 or Roberson chroniclet.com.
