Keystone fund drives for local author battling cancer
The Keystone community rallies for Tara Sivec, a 47 year old author and Keystone High School graduate diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. Her sisters in law started a GoFundMe raising over 21000 dollars while baseball players collect gift cards to ease costs as the family faces treatment and travel. The effort drew strong support from teachers, staff, and residents, with food trains and envelopes placed at schools to help cover meals, gas, and household needs during treatment.
