Eisenhower Receives British Salute Aboard Des Moines

Forgotten Park Lodge Found Near Cleveland

The Bureau of Unemployment Compensation reports a drop in new regular unemployment claims from Dec 5 to 12. Week ended Dec 3 had 19,231 new claims versus 1,379 the prior year. Continued claims also declined from 3.70 to 6.20 dollars weekly. Temporary unemployment claims fell from 83 to 927 with continued claims easing from 8,159 to 7,755.
