Alleged shoplifting incident at Gibson's Bakery sparks dispute

Lorain DAV chapter guns 20 veterans $125 shopping spree

Lorain Disabled American Veterans members distributed $125 gift cards to 20 veterans for shopping at Wal-Mart in Lorain. North Ridgeville murder case attorney seeks to withdraw

Parma man John Rowan, 37, faces aggravated murder and related charges in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court. He pleaded not guilty and asked for counsel. The 2017 Not Forgotten Box drive concludes today with donations accepted from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday at The Chronicle Telegram located at 225 East Ave Elyria. Parking lot and lobby access are off Third Street.

Double-dip donor boosts Elyria toy drive with coats and toys

Chris Hyle of Chris's Place on Clark Street hosted a Christmas in July event raising 400 dollars and 62 toys delivered August 8 to the Elyria Salvation Army. With Sue Plas, she donated 10 children’s coats, 24 toys, and children's pajamas to the annual toy drive aiding Elyria children for holidays.
