Indians Make Offer to Walker at Winter Meetings
The Cleveland Indians proposed a one year deal with a 2005 club option to free agent Todd Walker, aiming for a strong two way impact from the 30 year old second baseman. The offer, believed to exceed 2 million for 2004, was described as light on money but a starting point. Meersand, Walker's agent, wants a quick wrap up before December 20.
