Ohio State Patrol reports 29 year old Lyri man Jack P D Kiser of 174 Fastive died in a car crash into Willow Creek near Gealton State Prison Farm. His southbound car struck a bridge last night around 8:45 and submerged. The body was found by Trooper Carroll and taken to Elyria Memorial Hospital. Coroner's office to determine cause of death.
Anticipated heavy snowfall and shifting winds trigger a National Weather Service alert for possible floods along Lake Mine shore west of Clovoetand. Weather service cautions residents to be prepared, with lake level rises forecast up to feet above normal and continuing gusty northwest winds.
