Fatal carbon monoxide leak at U S Steel Lorain plant
Two workers died and 13 were ill after a mid day carbon monoxide release in the U S Steel Lorain works powerhouse. Officials say a bleeder valve failure during a routine check caused the disaster. Names of the deceased include Herbert Howard and Garaciano Lozada with several others hospitalized in critical or fair condition.
