A reader signs a personal note addressed to Santa Claus. The message introduces the writer as Albert Andrewaki and appears as a holiday greeting or request.
Santa Claus says he is busy reading letters and fulfilling requests as the holiday rush grows, urging children to send in letters early for better service. He doubts finishing before December 24 but hopes to manage the workload, noting more letters arrive on the final day. The Chronicle-Telegram shares excerpts from Elyria readers, including a nine year old asking for a pencil box, a story book, a coat, a doll, candy, and nuts, while not forgetting mother, father, sister, and a child in Ely school hoping for a bird.
An old advertisement claims S.S.S. will give body power to clear blemishes and scars. It asserts internal healthfulness reflects in natural skin loveliness and that millions have used the medicinal properties of 8.8.8 to build the system and combat the cause.
