National Guardsmen in full dress rolled into Albert Lea Minnesota to halt violence at the Wilson and Co meat packing plant. More than 30 troops arrived after 7 am est amid a strike dispute with nonunion workers. The plant is closed under military orders with officials urging calm and dispersal.

Suit Seeks 250000 For Salgado Widow

Avon Policeman Robert Welland and the village of Avon face a 250000 civil suit in Lorain County Common Pleas Court. The action seeks damages from the death of Martin Salgado after a chase began in Avon and ended at a barbershop near Ri 23451.
