Fireman Confesses To Taking Jewelry From Atlanta Hotel
Fireman Joe A. Robinson 36 admitted taking jewelry worth thousands from Atlanta’s hotel Wineroff after a December 7 blaze that killed 121. He signed a statement claiming valuables were taken during a room check, was jailed on disorderly conduct and larceny charges, released on bond, and jewelry recovered. He could not name the room or floor.
