Premature Baby Receives Pacemaker In Intensive Care
A three pounds 11 ounce newborn in Denver is the smallest known to receive a pacemaker. He was taken off a ventilator and showing improvement though still in serious condition. Doctors reported two operations and a later replacement lead wire to aid heart pacing.
