Giving Tree program raises duplication concerns in Elyria
The Elyria Salvation Army fears the United Way of Greater Lorain County and Midway Mall Giving Tree may duplicate its Not-Forgotten Box drive. More than 420 names seek gifts and 700 to 800 for Not-Forgotten Box. United Way aims to avoid overlap with a clearing house system. Gifts will go to multiple local agencies serving children and the visually impaired.
