Blaze destroys Vincent home. mother and five children left with nothing
Elsie Moore and her five children, ages 9 to 16, lost nearly all belongings when a fire swept their single story house at 5048 Bond Ave Vincent. The home was uninsured. Four of six school levies are defeated in special election
Area voters statewide rejected four of six operating levies in a special election. Avon in Lorain County approved an 8-mill renewal and a 3.5-mill addition after their prior defeat.
