Union staff drop complaint against Nancy Fisher
Wellington union for non teaching staff withdraws a state board complaint accusing former Westwood Elementary Principal Nancy Fisher of interrupting a union meeting in May. Detours as Lorain County Roads Undergo Widening and Bridge Work
East River Road near Route 254 and Gulf Road is closed through December 17 for widening. A new bridge on Route 254 over the Black River is partly open with one lane each way and due to finish September 15, while the old span is being torn down. Crews repair a rail crossing at Route 82 with detours via Route 82. two lane resurfacing on Route 83 and Route 82 aims to finish by July 31, with delays of five to fifteen minutes expected.
