Roundup details multiple Lorain County incidents and legal moves
Police report an elderly woman injured by a glass in Elyria while the man she was with stayed on the couch as investigators probe the incident. In May 2012 Juan Palacios pleaded no contest to aggravated vehicular homicide and DUI after a crash killed Linda Latorre. Two Amherst Township park shootings led to three year prison terms for Paul Kilgore and a similar deal for Zack Spurlock. Avon Lake attorney Gerald Phillips pushes for a criminal probe into Lorain City Council primary election fraud that altered results for Dennis Flores by one vote and prompted filings to officials to seek an investigation.
