Jingle Bail Lockup raises funds at Avon Lake pub
Local business leaders from Avon Lake Avon and Sheffield will serve time Tuesday at Spunkmeyer's Pub Avon Lake in the Muscular Dystrophy Association Jingle Bail Lockup to raise funds for medical research and patient services. Participants can call for help with AirTouch Cellular and must raise 500 dollars each.

Lorain Police Briefs Take Up Day’s Incidents
A Lorain woman, 25, was charged with child endangerment after leaving two kids in a car while she visited a bank. Keon Chaney, 19, faced drug charges after police observed him with items exchanged near his East Avenue home. An $800 burglary was reported on Lincoln Street with entry through a rear window. Teri Farrell, 35, was charged after a DUI related crash on West Erie Avenue and failing to stop, with minor injuries to others and multiple traffic charges filed.
