Missing woman case unfolds with DNA and assets inquiry
A search of the apartment shared by Seymore and Riley found a missing Rubbermaid bin two blankets two photo albums and a small blood trace by the door. Only Seymore’s sock was recovered. Riley’s car was found in East Cleveland and a bloodload identified as the victim’s was recovered inside. Seymore vanished lived under an alias in California until extradited to Ohio in 2005 on an identity theft warrant and served a year in prison before release in July. Attorney Mike Duff says Seymore has no assets and discourages collection efforts while Chris Cook plans wage garnishment and a hearing to uncover assets and may seek funds from the Ohio Crime Victims Compensation Fund.
