Lorain United Fund campaign falls short of goal
The first Greater Lorain County United Fund drive ended with pledges totaling 1,149,014 or 89.2 percent of the goal of 1,280,860. Final figures could push total to about 1,180,000, still short of the target, delaying expansion programs for 65 county agencies. Budgets for all agencies are due Monday and will be reviewed by the budget committee.
