The Cleveland National Weather Service warns Lorain County may see 2-4 inches of snow with lake effect bands and gusty winds up to 50 mph near the lake shore. An advisory remains in effect until 4 a.m. Friday as rapid visibility changes and slick roads are expected across Lorain Elyria North Ridgeville and Avon Lake. Resources include extra flashlight, food and water in cars and cautious driving.
