Ohio bill pushes public rules for police body cameras
A new Ohio measure would require law enforcement agencies to have written body camera policies and make them public. The bill emphasizes transparency without mandating camera use and aligns with ongoing work by the Ohio Collaborative board on privacy and operations. Local agencies already deploying cameras would need accessible policies.
