Urbin, 45, turned himself in at the jail to start a 90 day term for two counts of unlawful interest in a public contract and single counts of tampering with evidence and complicity to tampering. Convicted in April 2001, he steered city business to a party center his brother sought to buy while mayor. Visiting Judge Markus allowed him to work as a salesman during the sentence.
