A Lorain jury under Judge A. KR. Webber awarded Simeon Musulin $2,000 after a suit against Floryao Bed for work on a house. The plaintiff sought the remainder due on construction costs, while Bed filed a cross petition for $1,600 alleging faulty work.
In Sandusky a custody fight opened in common pleas court over four year old Eliner Serbu. Gideon Serbu of Lorain sues his wife MarySerbu accusing neglect and cruelty while Mary counters with assault and excessive demands. Seventeen witnesses were subpoenaed as Judge WL Fiesinger considers which parent should have custody.
John J Jackson, 18, pleaded guilty to embezzlement in common pleas court and was fined $25 plus costs. The Lorain collector admitted taking $25 belonging to Moshin Bros., Inc. before Judge W. B. Thompson. He had pleaded not guilty at first arraignment.
Mrs Lilliendahl recounts being transported to Hammonton Emergency Hospital by state trooper, sedated, and questioned for hours. She denies improper relations with Beach and says she did not mark the murder scene, offering an explanation of bloodstains on clothing tied to caring for her injured boy. Luncheon recess follows.

She taught in Lorain County and was active in civic questions. Also noted is the death of infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Canfield at 152 Warren Avenue, with funeral to follow.
In Lancaster Ohio a nurses home at Lancaster Maternal Hospital burned after an early morning fire. Eighteen nurses fled from beds as flames and smoke filled the second floor. Firemen contained the three story brick building, roof burned out, water damage on floors. Loss estimated at seven thousand dollars, partly covered by insurance. Fire discovery by Miss M A Dailey hospital superintendent. three firefighters helped bring the blaze under control.
On December 4 Mr and Mrs John White of North Main Street marked their golden wedding anniversary. Five children and several grandchildren attended a family dinner and received gold gifts. Neighbors later offered well wishes at the Wellington home.
Mrs Chira Yourkovi and her mother Anna Keller faced charges over child support. The court suspended a Tawdy sentence after Mrs Yourkovi agreed to pay 35 1 per week for her child. Other local fines followed for violations of school laws and related incidents in South Amherst.
Abandoned Ford coupe bearing license 104326, owned in Toledo, found at Stop 8a Oberum Road Saturday night. Deputies towed the car to a local garage where value was assessed. owner listed as Toledo resident.
George Wetzel of Columbus was fined 29 and 1 for assault and battery on his wife after a hearing in the justice of the peace court. Wetzel was arrested by Constable J J Howlett.
Roosevelt McDonald of Spen was driving north on West Street Saturday when his car was struck by a vehicle driven by Joe Kus zerncki. Police report notes McDonald’s car was considerably damaged.
Police received a report Saturday that a Ford e coupe owned by Mrs. A F Shaker of Stop 12 Lake Avenue was stolen. The vehicle bore license plate TS1 8S81.
Sullivan, address unknown, appeared in police court this morning for intoxication. He pleaded guilty to the charged offense and was fined 31 with costs assessed. The case and details were presented to the court by the officer in charge.

Nora Virs ginda Leach 17, hail from Marysville, was shot Saturday by Pennsylvani a bullet entered her chest and traveled downward to cause serious injuries.
