Lorain County Historical Society names new executive director

Kerri Broome became executive director of the Lorain County Historical Society on August 1. She holds a master's in historic preservation planning from Cornell and a BS in architecture from Ohio State, and previously led development and publications at the Cleveland Restoration Society.

Lorain County History Center and Hickories Museum Open

The Lorain County History Center and the Hickories Museum welcome the public. Weekday tours run 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the History Center and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hickories from Tuesday through Friday. The Hickories also offers 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. tours on Saturdays.
