Golf cart ride ends in court

A $1 million lawsuit filed in Cleveland names Clarice Shernock of North Olmsted as driver when a golf cart at Pleasant Valley Country Club tipped, injuring Sallie M. Johnson and fracturing her ankle. Defendants include South East Golf Car Co, South East Harley Davidson Sales Co, and Columbia Parcar Corp.

Decoy wallet foils Lorain robbers in early hours

In Lorain near E. 28th Street and Apple Avenue at about 3 am two men grabbed a partially blind 29 year old man. He said the wallet was a decoy containing only identification and no cash. Police could not obtain full descriptions due to his partial blindness.

Lorain Burglary Suspect Hidden In Bedside Intruder

In Lorain an intruder appearing at a bedroom door turned out to be a real burglary suspect. A 34-year-old man in bed described a visitor saying hi between 5:30 and 10:15 p.m. Tuesday. A computer worth 200 dollars and 10 dollars in change were later found missing.
