In Plains Georgia a couple wed in the Plains Baptist Church with a small crowd, tourists and newsmen present. Emma Cushton MacDonald, 34, formerly of Springfield and Homestead Florida, married Charles Pierce MacDonald, 66, in a ceremony arranged with Mrs Lillian Carter and Rev Bruce Edwards. The couple met in a Homestead mobile home park and chose Plains for its significance to them.
