Meister son of Mr and Mrs Herbert H Meister will present his senior recital Sunday at 8 15 p m in the Ashland College Dr and Mrs Hugo Young Theatre The recital features his original compositions and percussion works Meister is the first Ashland College student to have music published during undergrad years He plans to pursue a master's degree in composition and performance In addition he has played with the Ashland College Band UC Jazz Band Oberlin Music Theater Orchestra and Teachers Performance Institute Orchestra He is a Phi Delta Theta member residing at 22 Michigan Ave Columbia The final meeting of 1971 for the Columbia Zoning Commission was held last night at the town hall with one vacancy to be filled A organizational meeting is set Jan 5 to elect officers and set 1972 dates A new zoning ordinance from the Regional Planning Commission is under study and compared with the current text
