Plane likely overweight in fatal Northeast Ohio crash
NTSB findings indicate the Willoughby Hills crash may have been caused by an overweight load of at least 90 pounds and a rearward center of gravity. The aircraft departed from Cuyahoga County Airport after a Case Western Reserve University sightseeing flight, killing pilot William Felton and three students Lucas Marcelli Abraham Pishevar and John Hill. Felton had about 116 flight hours and no alcohol or banned substances were found in autopsy results.
