Avon High sets start date with major scheduling changes
Avon High School plans a Tuesday start as Principal Rick Buckosh implements shifts to separate seventh and eighth graders in a new south wing, introduces nine 40 minute periods for junior high, adds a full time counselor, and aligns bell changes for smoother class transitions. The 550-student school will have band director Dave Viglinos lead the varsity band in an away game.
