The 1946-47 Holy Cross school year will begin Tuesday morning with a brief welcome by the Sisters and pupils. Only a half day on Wednesday. Most teachers are new, and advance registrations show a small decrease in enrollments.
St Jol's Coutheran sehosf on Mind street will start its 1948-47 chant yet out M40 a. mo Tues dav. A half-day session is scheduled for Thursday and students will register then day. A slight increase in enrollment is expected. The school will have a new teacher, R. O P. Gorenz, whose appointment was announced recently.
Sheffield Brookside School will open Tuesday September 4 with a half day session. Bus pickups remain at prior year times and locations. Staff includes principal William Have and many teachers. the cafeteria will be closed this year.
