Ancestral Home Purchased By Mrs. Roosevelt
Mrs Theodore Roosevelt widow of the vice president has bought Mortlake Inn at Brooklyn Conn to preserve her ancestral home built by her great great grandfather Colonel Daniel Tyler in 1765. She says she has no plan to run the inn and will live at Oyster Bay. Marian Prentice Thompson says she was removed as manager and that Mrs Roosevelt will guest at the inn when she chooses.
