Bandusky Ene County Commissioners on Thursday approved the annexation of the Hunt Strip, a three acre wooded area southwest of the village, from the Bay View Property Owners Association to the village of Bay View. The measure follows a petition by Dean Duval, Bay View solicitor, and the land will be used for public recreation facilities.
Ohio health officials report the cost per patient day in tuberculosis hospitals is increasing as patient numbers fall. The 1962 Ohio Department of Health review notes 22 TB hospitals with 3,749 patients, 52 percent bed occupancy, and a $15 million annual operating bill, urging consolidation or repurposing of beds and outlining the Pleasant View Sanatorium dilemma in Lorain County.
David McDonald Breen of Sheffield Lake faces a $10 fine and costs are withheld if no further traffic violations occur in four months after December 15. Charles M.
