Caution Advised Buying a Used Car in Today’s Market
The U S Department of Transportation urges buyers to set requirements and inspect thoroughly, warning against unsafe defects and biased comfort factors. Dealers note August slowdowns, late fall trade-ins, and a lively market with low mileage cars in demand. Recommendations include consulting Mazda advised guides, private versus dealer purchases, and arranging a trusted mechanic inspection before purchase.
