Fireballs near Spencer puzzleed: scientists weigh ignis fatuus verdict
Chronicle Telegram reporter and chemists visit the Kitchen farm near Spencer to study the nightly lights blamed on the old spook. Dr Wendell Neiderhauser and Rudolph Seigfried examined the site but the fireballs did not appear. They favor Ignis fatuus as a natural explanation, while awaiting a future, better night observation. The village buzzes as locals, including two ministers and the Ramsiers, recall past sightings and prepare to stay up for another watch.

Sanarium bond issue unlikely this year in Lorain County
Lorain County voters probably will not see a pond issue for a county tuberculosis sanitarium on the November ballot. Prosecutor Myers says an architect must draft plans and estimates, costs of site, and a certificate of reference for bond maturity, delaying passage to next year. A countywide meeting of clubs will seek a concrete plan, while two other bond items loom including a two million dollar Black River bridge and a sick and invalid building for the county home.

Scientist Gives Dimensions of The Universe
Dr Lerwick Silberstein of New York told the American Astronomical Society in Ottawa that he measured the universe. He proposed two objects can be further space than 9,009,009 years and a distance of 54,090,900,099,990,098,000 miles. Silberstein presented his data yesterday at the Dominion Observatory and dismissed the Wilson Observatory distance of 149,909,800 link years as utterly inadmissible.
