Downburst Causes Damage In Eaton Township Storm
The National Weather Service found no tornado touch down in Eaton Township during the Wednesday storm. Meteorologist Kristen Schuler said a downburst caused the damage to trees and homes as residents described uprooted trees and ripped shingles. About 50 Ohio Edison customers, mainly in Elyria, remained without power Friday afternoon, with restoration expected later.
