Smiling 66-Year-Old Pumps Gas at Elyria Station
Bill Hendrick, 66, works at Sohio on Bridge and Ridge in Elyria pumping gas and washing windshields. A Cleveland native, he moved to Elyria, raised a son, and volunteers with the Boy Scouts while enjoying the daily chance to help customers and stay active. He notes winter chills but keeps a cheerful front.
