Channel cottage life on Lake Huron near Cedarville
A reflective piece describes a cottage on the channel with knotty pine interior and ample power from the Sow. It notes proximity to Les Cheneaux Islands, old fur trade history, local flora and fauna, and seasonal activities from spring canoes to autumn blooms. The author praises Cedarville residents and garden efforts at the Beach family and recalls a wooden Indian souvenir and a Detour priest's motto.
