Avon Entertain Club Hosts Lido Event in Aug Evening
Mrs Jules Schneider hosted the Avon Lido Club at her home on Tuesday evening August 23. Prizes were won by Miss Helen Traxler and Mrs Harold Surman before lunch. Mrs Anthony Riegelsberger to entertain in two weeks. The Avon public school opens September 6 with a full staff listed including Miss Anna Burk Miss Anne Burke Miss Loretta Westrick Mr Danny and others. Teachers meeting set for Labor Day morning. Also from Santa Cruz a model boat designed to swim upstream using fins as the sole motor power.
