Longtime LaGrange farmer Victor Long honored posthumously
Victor Long, a Korean War veteran and longtime Lorain County 4 H volunteer, received the Clair Hill Memorial Award at the Lorain County Fair opening. The 88 year old, who died last September, taught youth about sheep and livestock, officiated games, and planned to enter the Ohio 4 H Hall of Fame in 2020 before the pandemic. His family accepted the award on his behalf as fairgoers recalled his service and dedication.

The Big Bounce America tour visited Victory Sports Park in North Ridgeville over the weekend with four inflatable attractions including the 13,000-square-foot Guinness certified World’s Largest Bounce House standing 32 feet tall. Families enjoyed slides, pits and obstacle courses despite heat. three-hour sessions are available this coming weekend with a $5 parking fee.
