Officer tied to 2010 fatal shooting also on leave in Beavercreek Wal-Mart case
Beavercreek police placed Officer Sean Williams on administrative leave after the August 5 fatal shooting inside a Wal-Mart in the Dayton suburb. Williams and Sgt. David Darkow were the responding officers. Darkow returned to duty while Williams remains on leave. A 2010 Greene County grand jury did not indict Williams in the fatal shooting of Scott Brogli, ruled self defense. A federal investigation and a special county grand jury will review the Wal-Mart case. Crawford family attorneys question video handling and seek release of findings.
