Former Bay Village mayor Carman dies at 86 in Florida
Lawrence G. Carman 86 a former Bay Village mayor died Wednesday at his home in Seminole Florida. He was a Berea native and retired from American Ship Building Co with quality control duties. He held a civil engineering degree from Baldwin Wallace College 1926 and served as Bay Village Historical Society trustee. Survivors include daughter Marguerite Cross and three grandchildren. He was preceded by wife Maxine in 1987.

Kevin Dailey was flown to Cleveland MetroHealth in guarded condition. Downes faced a failure to yield citation.
