Vermilion Ballot Proposes 10 Charter Changes and Tax Measures
Vermilion voters in November face 10 city charter amendments including extending the mayor’s term to four years, restricting utility extensions, and adding a parks board member. Also on the ballot are open meetings executive session rules, a 6 mill operating levy for schools, Ritter Public Library bond issue of 1.6 million over 20 years plus a 1 mill operating levy, plus county and local tax renewals in Erie and Huron counties.
