Wellington Lorain County Fair enters its second day with attendance up 2 708 over opener. Fair officials say gasoline shortages are turning the event into a vacation alternative. Dorothy Klimczak, wife of Ward 6 Councilman Felix Klimczak, is the Republican nominee for Elyria City Auditor in November. She was unanimously chosen after Jane Burrows withdrew for personal reasons.
