Stolen Mercy Regional Hospital car theft ends in six arrests
A car stolen from Mercy Regional Hospital in Lorain triggered a Friday morning chase, crash, and six arrests in Lorain and Elyria. Suspects Lindsey Collins and Brian M. White were charged with theft and linked to a hospital break‑in and other thefts. The stolen Ford Edge was found wrecked in Elyria. four teens were later charged with related offenses.

Avon Lake man set for sentencing on aggravated trespass
Avon Lake Municipal Court will sentence Nathan Whitler 23 for aggravated trespass after he pleaded no contest to attempting entry at a York Street home. Whitler’s prior records include 2008 2011 convictions and a pending robbery case in Cuyahoga County.
