Double Red Cell machine boosts blood donations at fair

LifeShare Lorain County Blood Bank rolls out a Double Red Cell unit machine at the Lorain County Fairgrounds. Donors provide two red cell units per 36 minute donation with a 16 week wait between donations and a yearly cap of three donations. It returns plasma and adds saline to the donor, helping stabilize supplies during the summer.
