DeLorean firm blamed for owner’s preoccupation

Grand Rapids AP says Harold DeWitt former chief accountant at the DeLorean Motor Co testified the firm suffered as John DeLorean focused on other dealings. DeWitt testified before a grand jury probing DeLorean’s finances and a Swiss R&D venture. He worked 1977 to 1979 and noted a $16.5 million Swiss R&D project via GPD Services Inc.

Six year old saves drowning mother in California pool

In La Crescenta California six year old Peter Ringen rescued his mother Maggie from a pool by doggy paddling to the edge and calling emergency services. Despite recent move from New Jersey the operator located the family home using the address provided by Peter and his sister Cameron. Mrs Ringen treated at Verdugo Hills Hospital and released.
