Groucho Marx Dies at 86 After Pneumonia Battle

Los Angeles AP reports Groucho Marx, famed for his duck walk and sharp wit, died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center at 7:25 p.m. PDT aged 86 after pneumonia. Companions note his era ends. son Arthur, daughter-in-law Lois, grandson Andrew present. The Marx brothers era began in vaudeville and films ending with 1948’s Love Happy return. Groucho’s life included a long guardianship circus and a Carnegie Hall comeback for An Evening of Groucho in 1972.

Trustees seek state funds to move Kent gym site

Kent State University trustees weigh relocating the disputed gymnasium annex to avoid the May 4 1970 shooting site. Literary agent offered tapes of Son of Sam

New York agent Scott Meredith says a source close to the Berkowitz case offered him transcripts and tapes of an interview with the suspect.
