Eagles Auxiliary Drill Team Wins National Honors
The Eigrix Esgies Auxiliary drill team from Elyria won national honors for the second time after competing at the National Convention of the Eagles in Chicago. Twenty five Elyria women attended, sixteen on the team with two color bearers and the captain Leona Schmidt. The team earned first prize money of one hundred dollars. they had previously won first prize in Toledo in 1932.
